Camden Waterfront Plans Major Attractions
In keeping with the "Two Cities, Two States, One Waterfront" concept, the Camden Waterfront has a number of new attractions in development. These attractions will join the Adventure Aquarium, the Camden Children's Garden, Campbell's Field, and the U.S.S. New Jersey.

Adventure Aquarium
The Adventure Aquarium features fish from around the world, including the tropics, the Atlantic Ocean, and the local rivers and bays. Its informative and interactive exhibits are sure to interest the whole family. Some of the aquarium's feature exhibits include a walk-through shark tank, a "4-D" theater, a hippotamus exhibit with an underwater viewing area, and a submarine exhibit themed on the tales of Jules Verne.

Right outside of the Adventure Aquarium is the Camden Children's Garden. At this location, not only will you find many varieties of flowers, shrubs, and trees, but also many places out of your favorite nursery rhymes.The garden also includes a carousel, a train, and an indoor butterly garden.

Campbell's Field Waterfront Ballpark
Campbell's Field is home to the Camden Riversharks, an Atlantic League baseball team. No matter where one sits in the 6000-seat facility, they will feel close to the action. The ballpark also features reasonable family prices, a special play area for kids, a picnic area, and spectacular views of the Philadelphia skyline and the Ben Franklin Bridge.

This outdoor venue on the Camden Waterfront is the site of many concerts and entertainment events throughout the year.

U.S.S. New Jersey
Camden is the permanent host site for the Battleship New Jersey, the most decorated battleship in U.S. naval history. The ship offers guided tours daily, as well as special events such as overnight encampments.

Future Attractions
Aerial Tram
This fully funded project will eventually provide an aerial tram to link the Camden and Philadelphia waterfronts. Gondola cars will glide over the Delaware River from Camden and, 5 minutes later, will land on the Philadelphia side of the river. These cars will be heated and air-conditioned, and will be able to transport 3000 persons per hour across the water.

Riverwalk
Camden envisions its waterfront to one day be a hub of shopping, dining, and entertainment. Its master plan shows the including of a number of new shopping facilities, a hotel, and housing complexes.
