The Melting Pot, located half a block from the Convention Center, is Philadelphia’s first fondue restaurant. While menu items can be ordered a la carte, most guests choose the traditional four-course meal, which costs about $40 a person. It includes a cheese fondue selection, a choice of salad, a fondue entrée with a choice of four cooking styles, and a chocolate fondue dessert. Entrees include lobster tail, shrimp, sirloin, and chicken. Dessert dipping items include fruit, cheesecake, marshmallows, brownies, and pound cake. Besides fondue, The Melting Pot also offers a creative selection of mixed drinks such as “Yin & Yang,” “Tipsy Turtle,” and “Chocolate Martini.” A meal at the Melting Pot will probably last several hours, so it is also a great time to connect with family and friends. The private dining rooms and subdued lighting also make it the ideal place to take a romantic interest.

The Melting Pot is open 5:00pm to 10:00pm Monday to Thursday, 5:00pm-11:00pm Friday and Saturday, and 4:00pm-9:00pm on Sunday.
