Denim, in Rittenhouse Square, has quickly become one of the biggest social hotspots in the City. The club caters to the 20s to 40s crowd, and is a place to see-and-be-seen. The menu blends Nuevo-Latino and Asian Fusion cuisine. The décor features “a front room full of tuffeted denim, a yacht-size bar ringed by thousands of beaded strands, and in the rear, a crimson wall of criss-cross black leather straps and antlers that looks like Jean Paul Gaulter doing up the Elk Lodge” (Philadelphia Magazine). Be aware, however, that Denim is not light on the wallet. Alcohol ranges from around $5 for beers to $9 for mixed drinks. Food is around the $20 price range. After 10:00pm on weekends, however, bottle service comes into play, with prices for bottles ranging up to $250. Denim enforces a minimum business casual dress code. The club is open Wednesday through Saturday 5:30pm-2:00am.
